Our project, “Juxtaposition,” deals with the differences between Latin and Arabic typefaces.
We wanted to present the topic graphically and add a tactile element. The stop motion film is a direct and authentic representation, so it was well suited as the medium for our project. We created some three-dimensionality with the help of modeling clay. In the realization, we presented the visual differences, the difference in the reading and writing direction, the upper and lower case letters, and structure.
